Come and learn to improvise mo betta at 7:45 to 8:30 pm tonight. You’ll play and I’ll play and no one can hear you – this is a great opportunity. Beginners and intermediates always welcome, every instrument and vocalists. It’s so much fun to play to great songs – music is awesome!
Tonight we’re starting with “Sync Hole”, the first techno/dance piece we’ve done, in d minor. Then “Cove East”, a rocky folk piece in F with one little bit in A (D). This here link:

gets you to all the scales, patterns, and charts used tonight. If you can, it’s usually easiest to use if you print them out.
I’m adlibbing on the electric guitar again (because I kinda think the techno piece needs it) and the mandolin tonight. Pray for me.
Then at around 8:30 we get to my Q&A - “To Play and Sing”. Ask anything musical, perhaps even anything art related. The secrets of learning will be revealed. Last week we talked about what the “One chord” or “V chord” means, and what numbers in chord names (G7, gm7, G13) mean. We also learned why bassoons are better than oboes. We won’t know the questions for tonight until you bring yours.
Bring yo sef and yo chillun.
